Art Partners Studio - ART matters!
The Studio's (APS) over-arching goal is to nurture an inclusive and accessible arts resource for neighbors in the heart of the City and weave an art network across the townships served by the Coatesville Area School District (CASD).
APS is ART central in Coatesville. It is the only year-round visual arts program serving the school district's 63,500 residents. Art classes, workshops, and summer art camps range from animation to anime, digital imaging, drawing/painting, fiber, graphic design, mixed media, mosaics, murals, photography, printmaking, textile design, and interdisciplinary art projects.
Beyond our walls, youth are engaged in after-school art at a local ceramic studio, seven CASD schools, and organizations serving economically challenged youngsters. APS provides off-site master workshops for experienced students, therapeutic classes for seniors and veterans plus "drop-in" family art at events. Exhibitions for artists and students prevail across a citywide gallery from the Studio to Citadel Bank, Coatesville Savings Bank, the Lukens Executive Office Building, and downtown storefront windows.
Affordable art programs and a generous scholarship fund guarantee that ART is within reach for all. Studio programs engage 1,750 neighbors in our downtown space, Barking Tree Pottery, seven CASD schools, the Coatesville Area Senior Center, and Veterans Administration Medical Center plus City events. 75% enjoy ART at no cost!

Your gift will support the Studio's highly subsidized art program. We rely on a dollar for dollar match to cover administrative, facility, and personnel expenditures as tuition revenues and fees for art contracts only cover artist fees, art materials, and promotion. The Studio is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All donations are tax deductible. Art Partners Studio could not have accomplished so much without the support of community volunteers. We are most appreciative of our volunteer Board of Directors and committee members plus others who have pitched in to nurture our green space, helped in the office, and provided extra hands for art activities in the City.
